Ingrowing & Involuted Nails

An ingrowing toenail grows into the surrounding skin, causing pain, redness and sometimes infection. An involuted nail curves deeply and presses into the sides of the toe.

How I help

I provide careful, conservative care to clear the troublesome edge and ease the pain. For suitable nails I also offer gentle, non-surgical nail bracing, which retrains the nail to grow flatter and reduces the chance of it returning. If a toe is badly infected, I'll always advise the safest next step — which may be a visit to your GP.
