What is a medical pedicure?
A medical pedicure — sometimes called a medi-pedi — is a thorough, health-focused foot treatment that looks after the health of your feet and nails as well as their appearance. Unlike a salon pedicure, which is mainly cosmetic, a medical pedicure is carried out by a qualified Foot Health Practitioner using sterile, professional instruments in a clean, hygienic setting.
How it differs from a salon pedicure
There is no shared footbath and no cutting corners on hygiene. Every instrument is sterilised (and disposable where possible), and the focus is on the condition of your skin and nails — reducing hard skin and callus, tidying and thinning nails, caring for cuticles and cracked heels, and spotting any small problems early.
